Gambling Should Always Be Entertainment

At Milvin, responsible gambling is not an afterthought — it is built into every layer of how the platform operates. Betting and casino games are entertainment. They are designed to be enjoyed in moderation, with defined budgets, within time limits that suit your life. The moment gambling stops feeling like fun and starts feeling like an obligation or a financial strategy, something has gone wrong. Milvin's job is to help you stay on the right side of that line.

Milvin operates under an international gaming license. We are not licensed or regulated by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority. This page reflects our responsible gambling obligations under that international license and is provided for the benefit of all users, including Pakistani players. It does not constitute legal advice. Users in Pakistan must satisfy themselves that their participation complies with local law, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977.

🔞 Adults Only — No Exceptions

The Milvin platform is strictly for users aged 18 or older — or the higher minimum age required by the Operator's license jurisdiction or by the laws of your country of residence, whichever is greater. Age alone does not determine the lawfulness of gambling in Pakistan. Users must verify their own eligibility. Milvin will verify age during account registration and may request supporting documents at any time.

🔔

🚫

🧾
Bet History Access

How to Set Your Limits

All responsible gambling tools are accessible from the Account Settings section of your dashboard. Navigate to the Responsible Gambling section, select the tool you want to activate, enter your preferred limit value in PKR and confirm. Deposit and loss limits take effect immediately. Increases to limits require a 24-hour cooling-off period before they apply — decreases take effect without delay.

Important: Milvin will never pressure you to remove or increase your limits. If a support representative encourages you to alter protective controls in a way that feels uncomfortable, please report this via the Help Center immediately.

Self-Exclusion — When You Need a Break

Self-exclusion is the strongest tool available. It allows you to lock your account for a defined period — ranging from 30 days to permanent closure — during which you will be unable to log in, deposit or place bets. Self-exclusion requests are processed immediately. Once activated, the exclusion cannot be shortened; only the original end date applies.

During a self-exclusion period, Milvin will also opt you out of all promotional marketing communications. Any real-money balance in your account will be returned to you via your verified payment method following the account review process.

Permanent self-exclusion means your account is closed indefinitely. Users who have self-excluded should not attempt to open a new account. Milvin reserves the right to close any account found to have been opened in circumvention of a self-exclusion request.

To request self-exclusion at any time, contact our support team via Live Chat or email at [email protected].

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of how experienced they are or how much they have bet before. The signs are not always obvious — they often develop gradually. If you recognise any of the following patterns in yourself or someone you know, it is time to take action.

01

Spending more time or money on gambling than originally planned, even after telling yourself you would stop.

02

Gambling to recover losses — "chasing" — rather than accepting the outcome and moving on.

03

Hiding gambling activity from family, friends or colleagues in cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad or Rawalpindi.

04

Feeling restless, irritable or anxious when not gambling, or when attempting to cut back.

05

Neglecting daily responsibilities — work, family, studies — due to the time or preoccupation with gambling.

06

Borrowing money, using savings, or selling assets to fund gambling activity.

07

Continuing to gamble despite repeated financial losses that have impacted your daily life or financial security.

08

Using gambling as an escape from stress, anxiety, personal problems or negative emotions.

If you recognise three or more of these signs, please activate self-exclusion immediately and seek support. Gambling is not a solution to financial or emotional problems. Please speak to someone you trust or contact a professional support resource.

Responsible Gambling Support Resources

Milvin's license jurisdiction requires us to direct users who may be experiencing problem gambling toward recognized support resources. The following organizations operate globally and provide confidential support to individuals and families affected by problem gambling. Milvin has no affiliation with any of these organizations; they are listed solely as information resources:

  • GamCare — a leading international responsible gambling charity providing information, advice and support services to anyone affected by problem gambling. Available online and via helpline.
  • Gamblers Anonymous — a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others recover from a gambling disorder. Meetings are available internationally.
  • BeGambleAware — provides free advice and information on responsible gambling, as well as a national helpline and online chat service for those in need of support.
  • GamStop — a free self-exclusion scheme operated for users in relevant license jurisdictions. Milvin encourages users in applicable jurisdictions to register with national self-exclusion schemes in addition to using Milvin's own tools.

Users in Pakistan seeking mental health support or advice on managing financial stress related to gambling are encouraged to consult qualified health and financial professionals locally. Milvin does not provide referral services to Pakistani-specific mental health organizations, but strongly encourages you to seek local professional advice.

Tips for Staying in Control

Even if you do not have a gambling problem, these habits help keep your experience with Milvin enjoyable and sustainable:

  • Set a budget before you play and never exceed it. Decide how much you are comfortable losing — in PKR — before you open the platform. Once that amount is gone, stop.
  • Treat it as entertainment, not income. Winnings are unpredictable. Never plan your finances around expected gambling returns.
  • Take regular breaks. Set session limits and stick to them. Long unbroken sessions lead to poorer decision-making.
  • Never gamble when emotional. Stress, frustration or excitement after a PSL match result are not good states in which to place bets. Wait until you are calm and thinking clearly.
  • Avoid gambling under the influence. Alcohol and fatigue impair judgment and make it harder to stick to spending decisions.
  • Do not borrow to gamble. If you are considering using Easypaisa, JazzCash or any other method to fund gambling beyond your existing budget, stop and reconsider.
  • Keep gambling separate from daily finances. Use only funds you have allocated specifically for entertainment — not bill payments, rent or food money.

Protecting Other People — Especially Children

Milvin is an adults-only platform. If you share a device with children or teenagers — in any Pakistani household — it is your responsibility to prevent them from accessing the Platform. Practical steps include:

  • Never saving your Milvin login credentials on a shared device.
  • Always logging out of your account when not actively using the Platform.
  • Using device-level parental controls on shared smartphones or tablets.
  • Keeping your mobile phone locked when not in use.

Milvin verifies the age of users during registration and may request identity documentation at any time. Any account found to be accessed by an underage user will be immediately closed.

Local Law and Jurisdiction

Pakistan has restrictions on gambling under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. Milvin does not have a Pakistani gambling license and is not endorsed or authorized by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority. Users in Pakistan must make their own assessment of whether their participation is lawful under Pakistani law. This page does not constitute legal advice. Milvin operates under an international gaming license issued in its country of operation.

Quick Self-Assessment

This is not a diagnostic tool — it is a personal reflection exercise. Tick any statements that apply to your recent gambling behavior and review the guidance below.

I have spent more money gambling than I originally intended in the last month.
I have tried to win back losses by placing further bets.
Gambling has caused conflict with family members or affected my work or studies.
I have felt anxious, irritable or restless when not able to gamble.
I have kept my gambling activity secret from people close to me.
Please consider taking a break. You have ticked one or more responses that suggest gambling may be having a negative impact on your life. We recommend setting a deposit or loss limit right now, or activating self-exclusion if you feel you need a longer break. Our support team is available via Live Chat and at [email protected].
